Last Updated: 1/15/2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you,” “Client,” or “User”) and Alamo AV Holdings, LLC, a Texas limited liability company, doing business as SaveOnHouseTaxes.com (“SaveOnHouseTaxes,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of the SaveOnHouseTaxes.com website and any related services, content, software, tools, communications, or offerings (collectively, the “Site” and the “Services”).

BY ACCESSING OR USING THE SITE OR SERVICES, OR BY AUTHORIZING US TO ACT ON YOUR BEHALF, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, YOU MUST NOT USE THE SITE OR SERVICES.

1. ELIGIBILITY AND AUTHORITY

You represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • You are the owner of the subject property, or an authorized agent with legal authority to bind the property owner.
  • You have full authority to enter into this agreement and grant the authorizations described herein.

If you are acting on behalf of an entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. SCOPE OF SERVICES

SaveOnHouseTaxes.com provides property tax consulting and representation services, including administrative property tax protests before Texas appraisal districts and appraisal review boards.

Services do not guarantee any reduction in property value or taxes. Outcomes depend on market data, statutory standards, evidence, and decisions made by appraisal districts and appraisal review boards.

3. AUTHORIZATION TO ACT AS AGENT

By using our Services, you expressly authorize SaveOnHouseTaxes.com, and any licensed consultants or legal counsel selected by us, to act as your agent for property tax matters, including but not limited to:

  • Signing and filing Appointment of Agent forms, including Texas Form 50-162
  • Filing, negotiating, settling, pursuing, or withdrawing property tax protests
  • Communicating with appraisal districts and appraisal review boards
  • Making strategic determinations regarding evidence, settlement offers, and procedural options

SaveOnHouseTaxes.com retains sole discretion to determine whether sufficient evidence exists to continue, settle, or withdraw a protest. You acknowledge that professional judgment is required and that continuation of a protest is not guaranteed.

  •

4. CLIENT ATTENDANCE AND INTERFERENCE

Once SaveOnHouseTaxes.com is appointed as your agent:

  • You may not attend informal hearings or independently negotiate with the appraisal district unless expressly authorized in writing by SaveOnHouseTaxes.com.
  • You may not file a separate protest, appeal, or application relating to the same tax year without our written consent.

Client interference with the protest process constitutes a material breach of these Terms.

If you independently file or pursue a protest or appeal, SaveOnHouseTaxes.com may, at its discretion:

  • Withdraw representation; and
  • Collect any success fee owed if our work contributed to a reduction in value or taxes.

5. FEES AND PAYMENT

5.1 Contingency Success Fee Only

SaveOnHouseTaxes.com charges no upfront fees. Fees are contingency-based and earned only if tax savings are achieved.

5.2 Definition of Tax Savings

“Tax Savings” means the reduction in property taxes resulting from a decrease in the final certified appraised value for the applicable tax year, as determined by the appraisal district or appraisal review board, multiplied by the applicable tax rate(s) for that year.

5.3 Success Fee

The “Success Fee” is calculated as a percentage of the Tax Savings achieved for the applicable tax year, as disclosed at signup or in a separate service agreement.

The Success Fee:

  • Is earned once a reduction is achieved
  • Applies only to the tax year protested
  • Is owed regardless of later dissatisfaction with the outcome
  • Is not subject to refund once savings occur

If no Tax Savings are achieved, no fee is charged.

5.4 Payment Terms

Invoices are due upon receipt. Failure to pay timely may result in collection efforts and additional fees as permitted by law.

6. ADDITIONAL PROTEST OPTIONS

Certain additional remedies, including but not limited to:

  • Texas Property Tax Code §25.25(d) motions
  • Binding arbitration
  • Litigation or judicial appeals

are not included in the standard Services.

These options are:

  • Entirely discretionary
  • Not guaranteed
  • Available only if separately agreed to in writing
  • Subject to a separate fee, typically 10% of the applicable savings or recovery

7. CANCELLATION AND TERMINATION

7.1 No Cancellation After Filing

Once a protest has been filed on your behalf for a given tax year, you may not cancel Services for that tax year.

Cancellation, if permitted, applies only to future tax years.

7.2 Failure to Cooperate

Failure to provide required documents, notices, access, or cooperation may result in withdrawal of representation, with no obligation to pursue further action.

8. NO GUARANTEES

SaveOnHouseTaxes.com makes no guarantees regarding:

  • Reductions in value or taxes
  • Settlement outcomes

All Services are dependent on third-party governmental determinations and available evidence.
